Role: Contract Manager

Locations: Tayside/Angus/Perth/Fife
On behalf of our client, a highly reputable civil engineering contractor focusing predominately on infrastructure and groundworks projects across Fife, Perth, Angus and Tayside we are eager to speak with an experience Contract Manager seeking their next career challenge.
As the Contract Manager you will oversee multiple sites, ensuring seamless coordination among departments and site management teams. With a focus on meeting targets in health and safety, quality, program adherence, and cost efficiency, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of the business in the area.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Cultivate potential commercial opportunities during tender stages.
Develop pre-construction plans and commercial strategies.
Lead delivery efforts across existing and new sites.
Create construction programs and assist in subcontractor selection.
Foster communication among clients, technical teams, and the commercial department.
Manage the construction team effectively.
Ensure stringent adherence to HSEQ protocols.
Guarantee compliance with contractual obligations.
Vigilantly monitor project performance and instigate corrective actions when necessary.
Support timely preparation and release of comprehensive management reports.
Evaluate staff performance.
Key Success Factors/ Experience:
Minimum of a degree or HND in civil engineering or related field.
Previous experience in civil engineering experience.
Managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring seamless execution and optimal resource allocation.
Systematic approach to task execution.
Commercial Acumen. The ideal candidate must possess a keen business sense and a strategic approach to project operations, contributing to successful financial outcomes.
Superb communication and liaison skills.
Proficient in people management with comprehensive knowledge of construction and civil engineering practices and regulations.
SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications are essential.
