Kenton Black are currently working with a market leading Civil Engineering company to recruit a Contracts Manager to manage projects across the regions of Dundee, Perth and Fife.With an ever-growing order book throughout Dundee and Fife our client has a number of ongoing and upcoming high profile civil projects with values ranging up to £10m which the successful Contracts Manager would be an integral part of. Due to the growing nature of the company there is clear pathways for career development, making it the ideal time to join this reputable and evolving company.As Contract Manager you will be responsible for;· Collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects· Pre construction planning and commercial strategy.· Overseeing and driving delivery on both existing and new sites.· Developing construction programmes.· Assisting with appointing subcontractors.· Liaising with clients, technical teams (internal and external) and the commercial team.· Management of construction team.· Ensuring appropriate Health and Safety Management across all sites.· Reporting to the Operations Director.To be considered for the Contracts Manager role you will require;· Previous experience in a similar role delivering across multiple sites.· Excellent communicator and team leader, ability to deliver a variety of communications in a constructive manner.· Excellent assertive skills to ensure delivery of cost and targets by the onsite labour force, managing a wide range of contractors and trades to bring about a controlled and timely delivery.· In-depth knowledge of all aspects of construction and civil engineering and the relevant legislative requirements e.g., health and safety.· Strong knowledge of the construction industry including subcontractors, building regulations and methods.· Qualified to Degree/HND Civil Engineering preferred· SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS· CAD Knowledge and knowledge of ground modelling is desirable.· Knowledge of various surveying equipment is desirable.In return, you will receive a competitive salary, company van/car, private medical care and a company pension.If this role is of interest, please contact Kim on ##### or 07511177531
