Contracts Manager

Main Contractor who specialise in the the refurbishment of Commercial and industrial projects predominately in the South East of England.  The company have been trading for in excess of 10 years, growing at a steady rate year on year and currently T/O circa £20M P/A.
 
They are looking to recruit another Contracts Manager to join the team.  Based out of their offices in Hertfordshire, reporting into the Managing Director.  All work is procured via traditional tendering win the main with repeat clients.  Projects can value from £100K up to £5M.
 
Upon project award, the project is handed over to the Contract Manager who will then be responsible for placing orders with sub contractors, chairing client progress meetings, pricing any variations and agreeing with the client, checking sub contractors valuations and signing off, managing and supporting a site based No1 Site Manager through to final accounting.  You will be expected to manage 3 - 4 projects concurrently.
 
These are an extremely nice business to work for and will be looking for a self starter that is capable of managing their own time and projects reporting in on progress to the Director.
 
Experience required

• Management of similar projects overseeing Cost, Time & Quality
• Client facing
• Good verbal and written communication experience
• Process driven
• Able to drive 
• Strong IT skills, Excel, MS Project - programming etc
