Our client is a midlands based Design & Build contractor who are currently looking to strengthen their business with an experienced Contracts Manager.

Operating across the east midlands, the business was established several decades ago and enjoys strong financials combined with an established client base. The company has grown steadily since its foundation and next year could see a record turnover for the business. As a company they typically undertake new build and refurbishment projects valued at anywhere from £0.5 Million to £5 Million. Their portfolio of work spans a broad range of sectors including commercial, industrial, local authority, education and retail.

As a business they are privately owned which contributes to the 'family owned and run' ethos of the business. They are keen for like-minded construction professionals to join the business who are eager to join an inclusive and engaging work environment.

The Contracts Manager will report to the Construction Director and be responsible for overseeing 3 to 4 projects at any one time. They will therefore manage the Site Managers to deliver projects from start to handover ensuring projects are completed in a timely and safe manner whilst ensuring the client is fully satisfied with the final product and the project maximises it’s commercial return.

Given the strong position of the business to continue growing in the coming years they are keen to attract individuals who would be interested in furthering their career. A competitive salary and benefits package will include a company car / allowance, private medical insurance, paid annual leave etc. Suitable applicants will have experience of Contracts Management for a main contractor who undertake projects of a similar size and nature. In addition successful applicants should be from a trade background or hold an HNC or degree level qualification in a construction discipline.

Construction Senior Talent and our partner clients are equal opportunities employers.
