Job Description
The Contracts Manager - oil trading will be part of the international contract team supporting the natural gas trading team. You will be an integral part of the wider legal team supporting on the review, drafting & negotiating of commercial contracts.
The role will include:
Generate commercial contracts - reviewing, negotiating and drafting responses to client contacts.
Administer all contract work from initiation through to completion.
Review and recommend amendments to customer's Terms and Conditions as necessary.
Work closely with various departments such as Trading, Operations, Finance, Legal, Credit and Tax.
Work in a fast-moving commercial environment, agreeing priorities and workload in line with business needs and expectations.
Support internal stakeholders in UK, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium & Netherlands.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Contracts Manager will be a law graduate who has undertaken a number of commercial paralegal roles and has had exposure to commercial contracts. They will be confident in their ability to draft and review contracts and be comfortable liaising with a broad range of stakeholders.Ideally the Contracts Manager - Oil Trading will come from an oil & gas/ energy & renewables background but this is not essential.
Must have right to work in the UK.
Must be able to start at short notice.
