Position Overview:
As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the contractual aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management within the heavy steels or related industries, demonstrating a keen understanding of legal and commercial aspects of contracts.
Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review and Negotiation:
* Review and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and project teams, to optimize contract terms and conditions.
2.
Risk Management:
* Identify potential risks in contracts and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks.
* Provide guidance on risk allocation and propose solutions to protect the company's interests.
3.
Contract Compliance:
* Monitor contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work closely with project managers to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and timelines.
4.
Change Order Management:
* Handle change orders and variations to contracts, assessing their impact on project timelines and costs.
* Negotiate changes with clients and suppliers as needed.
5.
Communication and Collaboration:
* Foster effective communication between internal teams and external parties involved in contracts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, preferably in the heavy steels or construction industry.
* Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
