Opportunity:
Join a commercial building team that manufactures and installs replacement UPVC windows and doors for the public and housing authority sector. We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee projects in the South West region. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the role will involve:
Assisting in managing contracting activities in the South & Western region
Managing a high-performing team of Supervisors
Representing the Division in client presentations
Supporting pre-contract activities and tender processes
Leading and managing awarded contracts, including pricing and specifications
Controlling budgets and monitoring expenditures
Overseeing all EHS requirements
Managing contracts worth approximately £2-5m
Supporting contracts in progress and the final account process
Ensuring consistent customer satisfaction through regular client meetings
Providing technical advice as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in contract management within a construction environment
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Strong IT skills
Knowledge of current Construction Health & Safety legislation
Exceptional man management and customer service skills
Familiarity with UPVC windows and doors
The role involves regional travel across the South West region, requiring a full driving license and occasional overnight stays. Flexibility for rare outside working hours and weekends may be needed.
