Contract SQL Data Analyst

I am currently resourcing a Contract SQL Data Analyst on behalf of a client within the insurance sector. Previous experience within the insurance sector is imperative. This role is fully remote, falls outside IR35 regulations and is expected to last up to 6 months. The budget for this role sits between £400-£450 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions in the insurance domain.
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources.
Create and optimise reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analysis and reporting processes.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to support business strategy and operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues promptly to maintain data reliability.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as an SQL Data Analyst, particularly within the insurance industry.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver clear insights.
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create reports and dashboards.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
