Job Description
DHL Group, a leading global logistics company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Risk Manager to join our team. The Contract Risk Manager will be responsible for managing contract risks, ensuring compliance, and mitigating potential liabilities across our organization. This is a key role that will contribute to the overall success of our business by ensuring effective contract management and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess contract risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities
Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, procurement, and operations, to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation
Conduct regular contract audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
Develop and implement contract risk management policies and procedures
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to contract risk management
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters and risk mitigation strategies
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on contract risk status and mitigation efforts
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract risk management in the logistics, mainly in freight forwarding business models such as air , ocean , trucking and warehousing
Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field
Strong understanding of contract management principles, risk assessment, and risk mitigation strategies
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts and risk management
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills when interacting with stakeholders
Ability to analyze complex contractual agreements and identify potential risks
