X4 Technology are recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious Russell Group university clients who are offering the opportunity for a Student Record System Programme Manager on a contract basis to deliver 2 concurrent projects, as part of a high profile 4 year SIS programme which is central to their strategic ambitions of growing student cohorts, increasing proportion of international students and improving NSS position.
The Student Record System programme aims to improve the agility and robustness of their current SITS platform whilst de-risking a future move to the next generation platform. The programme is a year old and well established; in it's first year of activity it has set up a phased project to move SITS to the cloud which will be completed by June 2024. The incoming Programme Manager will be joining at an exciting, successful point of the University's journey and will take ownership for 2 projects which aim to address functionality gaps including curriculum management, module selection, recruitment, admissions and others.
Requirements of the Contract Programme Manager include:
Strong business transformation and technical expertise
Demonstrable experience of the review, diagnosis and successful delivery of solutions related to Student Information Systems
Previous experience in the identification and proactive mitigation and management of risks
Outstanding leadership and management skills including negotiation, ability to solve problems and ability to manage a programme budget
This is an inside IR35 contract with a day rate ranging between £550-575 depending on previous experience. This will be on a hybrid basis where you will be required onsite once a week.
