Contract Planner

Are you an experienced Planner, meticulously planning materials, logistics or production activities within the manufacturing sector? Are you looking for a new outside IR35 contract? Our client manufactures high precision parts for the Automotive sector and require a dynamic materials scheduler to work between procurement, planning and manufacturing. This contract is drawn up for 6 monthsinitially, however there is the possibility that this will extend.PlannerTelford6 Month Contract – OUTSIDE IR35Monday – Friday DaysCompetitive Rate AvailablePlanner Job ResponsibilitiesThe achievement of all customers’ volume requirements on time as stated and agreed within each project brief.To monitor the production output against the given plan and to analyse basic failures to achieve the set requirements.To be aware of general production and technical constraints always.To monitor specific raw material and bought out part levels against customer requirements and pre-determined inventory policies, with the aim of keeping the overall stock to a minimum, but at the same time, ensuring sufficient stock is always available to meet all production demands.PlannerQualifications/Skills Experience within relevant MRP/ERP software systems (SAP essential)Experienced in materials, logistics or production planningExperience within a similar role – min 3 yearsAutomotive experience (desirable)Excellent attention to detailIf you feel you are a good fit for this contract Planner opportunity, please click ‘apply’.
