Contract Manager

Dove & Hawk are working in partnership with a multi-branch London Estate Agency who are looking to add a Contract Manager to their Property Management team with the primary responsibility being to manage the relationships between the contractors that the firm use for their maintenance work. This role would suit a highly relational Property Manager who is looking to use their knowledge and rapport building skills to develop effective relationships with the preferred contractors.
Duties/Functions of the Role:

• Ensuring that all contractors engaged by the PM team adhere to the Contractor Agreement.
• Ensuring that all contractors are registered with Safe Contractor or Property Mark.
• Verifying legal certification, including Public Liability Insurance.
• Ensuring that all necessary documentation meets compliance standards for contractors.
• Identifying and engaging new contractors as needed, fostering ongoing relationships to ensure a reliable network of service providers
• Assisting the Property Managers in addressing complaints against contractors, analysing recurring issues, and implementing proactive measures to minimise future occasions
• Maintaining an up-to-date database of overdue invoices and provide support to resolve any queries promptly.
• Regularly reporting on invoicing status and conducting monthly debt meetings with Senior Team Leaders and Property Managers.

Requirements of the Role:

• Prior experience working as a residential Property Manager.
• Strong understanding of the Property Management process.
• Must be a good communicator (written and verbal).
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong IT skills.
• ARLA is preferable but not essential.

Salary Budgets: £36,000 basic salary, £38,000 OTE
Required working hours: Mon - Thurs 9am-5.30pm, Fri 9am-5pm (2 Days WFH per week)
