Job DescriptionWest Coast Thermal Ltd was founded in 2000 and is a major asbestos removal company in Cumbria based in Workington on the edge of the Lake District. We provide the full spectrum of asbestos removal, both licensed and non licensed works and have had a full asbestos removal license since 2001.Due to continued expansion and increased long term workload, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Contracts Manager to estimate and run a wide variety of projects across Cumbria & SW Scotland and help develop the team.PACKAGE AVAILABLE:£45,000 - £50,000 depending on qualifications & experience.Company vehiclePension package availablePerformance bonus25 days holidays plus bank holidays.Lodging Allowance if applicable (as per Pink Book)Working Hours 7.30 to 5pmMondays to Thursdays. Friday 3pm finish.ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:5+ Years experience in a similar role10+ years experience in the asbestos industry.CSCS Card preferably Manager Certificate.Clean driving licenseJOB DESCRIPTIONCreating, maintaining, and expanding our client base.Provide quotations to clients for asbestos remediation work.For each asbestos contract, reviewing contract scope, terms, and requirements on receipt of order.Ensuring contracts run smoothly and in a timely manner – pre-order asbestos skips and air testing for projects as and when required.Create electronic job files for each contract which must include all relevant documentation from start to completion of contracts – everything from enquiry to invoicing.Updating projects, plan, and schedules.Preparing all RAMS (Risk Assessments/Method Statements) for assigned jobs.Ensure RAMS and scope of work are understood by workforce before jobs begin.Co-ordinate and liaise with workforce during the contract to ensure RAMS are strictly adhered to and carried out correctly.To carry out internal site audits during the projects to check compliance with RAMS.If work is stopped by workforce for any reason, to visit site to find out reasons and to ensure contract is resumed safely.To liaise with company Health and Safety Manager in order to ensure that all West Coast Thermal health and safety systems and procedures are implemented and maintained.Identify variations to original work-scope in order to boost revenues.Liaise with Finance Team to ensure correct invoicing for contracts.Maintain and grow excellent working relationships with existing and future clients to ensure their needs are met in order to expand network of clients.To carry out workforce appraisals on an annual basis.
