Contract Manager
Up to £60,000 per annum plus discretionary bonus

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team and lead in delivering vital services to our customers. As Contract Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing and managing contracts that directly affect the well-being of our community.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the management and delivery of contracts in alignment with objectives and policies.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and budgetary constraints.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Implementing effective strategies for contract performance evaluation and improvement.
Providing leadership and guidance to your team to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a background of Management experience and a thorough understanding of contract processes. You will be leading, managing, and delivering the contract performance, with ownership of contractual budgets and ensuring that the commercial performance of the contract meets and exceeds commercial expectations of stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in contract management, preferably within a local government setting.
In-depth knowledge of public procurement processes and regulations.
Proven track record in setting and managing budgets and KPI performance.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Exceptional relationship management skills with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to navigate complex organisational structures and stakeholder environments.
Excellent people management skills
