Cambridge - Embedded Software Engineer - initial 3 month contract
A leading Cambridge based company, responsible for improving the efficiency and reliability of networks is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer on an initial 3 month basis. The scope of work includes a combination of porting opensource software onto proprietary hardware and implementation of 3rd party binaries.
Required experience:
Experience developing embedded software for bare-metal on ARM architecture in C/C++.
Experience and familiarity with the OSI model, including specific experience with development for Layer 2/3.
Desirable experience:
Experience with Embedded Linux development, ideally with kernel development.
Experience developing for LTE/5G systems.
