The overall purpose of the PMO function is to coordinate and support successful project delivery within the organisation, through strong governance framework which encourages collaboration, standardisation, and best practice and to continually review and support strategy of continuous improvement across the claims function in EMEA.The Continuous Improvement Lead is highly competent as a process manager and uses a variety of skills such as project design, leadership, and management to ensure performance and process development. The person in this position is responsible for using appropriate methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. This role is involved in planning, scheduling, and implementing continuous improvement activities.The purpose is to analyse current processes to find opportunities for improvements which will optimise the organisational performance. The Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for the identification of opportunity, making and implementing changes and sustaining improvements.The Continuous Improvement Lead role will develop strong relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders to ensure effective support of strategic planning, financial analysis, stage gate reviews/sign off.Key responsibilities:Seeing opportunities for operational improvement, waste removal, and cost reductionPlanning, facilitating, and driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma tools.Teaching, leading, and coaching Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.Working to continuously improve processes.Clearly defining program objectives and scopeEvaluating and prioritising potential improvements based on gains and required effort.Securing employee commitment for proactive change managementEstablishing a clear and well-articulated implementation planEstablishing criteria for the project’s success and preparing a sound statement of constraints/limiting factorsAppropriately implementing principles of governanceConducting detailed analysis of the current situation that accurately describes the issuesSpecifying deliverables, outcome indicators, and performance-measured indicatorsIdentifying available resources (for example, people, material, and finances)Mapping out in detail the desired situationClearly defining methodologyAccurately analysing options including impact and feasibilitySpecifying obstacles and ways to overcome them through continuous improvement.Regularly supervising the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits.Requirements & Experience:Proven track record in the delivery of business process change initiativesProficient in Change ManagementProficient in Lean Six Sigma and/or similar methodologyExperience in Root Cause AnalysisExperience in Value Stream MappingProven ability to work in high paced and changing environments.Demonstrated success in dealing with ambiguity, proven ability to communicate at all levels, including senior executive level, outstanding facilitation, problem resolution, cross-group collaboration and organisational agility skills.Proven experience of stakeholder managementAdvanced knowledge of Claims function.Ability to connect with all levels within the organisation.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Flexibility and diplomacy when dealing with staff and coworkersAbility to make decisions as well as influence decision-making.We offer in return!Competitive salary & pension scheme, annual bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave plus ability to purchase 5 additional days, Private Medical cover, Employee Share Purchase Plan, Life Assurance, Subsidised gym membership, Comprehensive Learning & development offerings.Employee resource groups, Networking, mentoring & development opportunities, 1 day annual Charitable leave, Cycle to work scheme, Active Sports & social committee, Employee Assistance programOur core values dictate how we live and work.
