Reports to:Project Portfolio Manager (Airports)Location: London – HeathrowIntroduction to role We are seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement Manager to lead our efforts in implementing process improvements. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing operational efficiency strategies, analyzing business practices, and recommending new improvement methods and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Lean methodologies, superb analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.Role ResponsibilitiesThe Continuous Improvement Manager focus is on optimizing the performance of the project execution organization by initiating changes that enhance efficiency, reduce waste and drive business growth. The Continuous Improvement Manager has a significant role in implementing quality management and lean methodologies in the project execution organization and primary duties and responsibilities include:Your responsibilities and activities will include:Lead and manage continuous improvement projectsAnalyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvementImplement new operational efficiency initiativesDrive the development and implementation of Lean methodologyCollaborate with teams and individuals to understand processes, and promote adoption of improvement measuresMonitor and report on the status of improvement projectsProvide training and guidance to team members about process improvement and Lean methodologiesMeasure and analyze improvement project outcomesIdentifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with the company’s strategic goalsAnalyzing and understanding processes in various departments, identifying areas of waste or inefficiencyDeveloping and executing improvement strategies, including change management activitiesLeading and facilitating cross-functional project teamsConducting continuous improvement training and workshops for staff at all levelsMonitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and making necessary adjustmentsUsing a range of tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen to drive process improvementsMaintaining reports of continuous improvement activities and presenting progress to senior managementEncouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the organizationWorking closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficientlyRole Qualification and SkillsProven work experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager or similar roleExperience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologiesStrong project management skillsOutstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication and leadership skillsBSc degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant fieldWhat we offer28 days of annual leave (excluding public holidays)Bupa Medical CoverYuLife – Wellbeing membership with fast access to GP appointments, promotion of health and wellbeing along with daily quests to gain Yucoins that can be swapped for shopping vouchersPerkbox includes things such as free eye tests at Specsavers including discounts on Glasses, free cinema vouchers and a weekly free coffee from Nero.
