This Continuous Improvement Lead role is based in Telford and comes with a favourable salary up to £46,000 per annum and offers a fantastic benefits package.The hiring manager is looking for someone who has an in-depth knowledge and proven experience in Manufacturing Processes and has Process/Continuous Improvement experience gained from either the Food & Drink Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive (Tier 1), Aerospace or Medical Devices industry.As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you will oversee a team of Process Operators and help eliminate performance gaps and maximise efficiency opportunities.In your first few weeks in this Continuous Improvement Lead role, you can expect to:• Handle operational management and control for the efficient running of process lines/areas• Work alongside other parts of the company to coordinate the overall activity on the plant, ensuring the area is clean, organised, under control and fully flexible to support the demands required• Ensure effective Standard Operating Procedures exist and are maintained for all activities and practices in your area• Lead the shift Process Operators, being responsible for the standard of the plant• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.To apply, you will need extensive manufacturing experience and continuous improvement knowledge. You will ideally have:• TPM/lean manufacturing knowledge in a highly automated Lean manufacturing environment• Experience in Food & Drink Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Aerospace, Automotive (Tier 1) or Medical Devices• Extensive experience in the successful application of Lean, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, etc.You’ll receive an excellent salary up to £46,000 per annum and benefits package that includes 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), life assurance and health insurance, 8% company pension contribution and other additional company benefits.
