Position: Contingency Underwriter
Location: London
Schedule: 3 days per week in London, 2 days work from home

Our client a Specialist London Insurer is currently seeking an experienced Contingency Underwriter to become an integral part of their dynamic team. This role is based in London and offers a balanced work arrangement, allowing for a blend of office and remote work.
Responsibilities:
Assess and underwrite contingency/event insurance policies, utilising your expertise and knowledge in the field
Demonstrate proficiency in analysing risks associated with Event Cancellation and Non-Appearance insurance products
Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, brokers, and clients to negotiate terms and conditions
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of proven experience in underwriting within the Contingency/Event Insurance sector, preferably within the London Market. This can be as an Underwriter, Assistant Underwriter or Broking background
Comprehensive understanding of core products such as Event Cancellation and Non-Appearance insurance
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and manage risks effectively
Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and negotiate terms
