GoMedia is part of Icomera UK Limited, who are a wholly owned subsidiary of Equans, who are part of the Bouygues Group. Role We are looking for a Content Coordinator for a Fixed Term contract covering maternity leave, to oversee the fast-growing processes supporting our media portal customers.
We have an increasing number of services running where we take responsibility for the acquisition and processing of content from content providers through to delivery to passenger devices (currently train and bus but likely to expand into other markets).
We require a great deal of proactivity, flexibility, attention to detail and enthusiasm.
The successful candidate will also be expected to assist technical/logistic operations to support sales and account management functions.
Location GoMedia staff work both remotely and in the office. We expect regular attendance at our
London office 2-3 days per week.
Requirements and/or Preferred knowledge: Knowledge of media content formats, content delivery methods, new distributor testing, transcoding and asset storage. Knowledge of broadcast/media standards and practices (MPEG, DRM, IP etc.). Experience of working with metadata, subtitle files, XMLs and/or JSON files would be an advantage. Awareness of OFCOM regulations and a good editorial instinct. Strong attention to detail. Must be comfortable dealing with internal teams, third party suppliers and clients. Ability to prioritise a varied workload that can change daily. Must be proactive and spot potential problems before they occur. Experience of Media Asset Management systems desirable. As our global reach expands, additional language skills would be useful.
Responsibilities: Taking responsibility for the process of content delivery from content providers to our platforms. Manage your own workload to meet delivery deadlines and proactively coordinate all stages of the content process. Being a point of contact for third-party suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of content. Building metadata accurately in our system for different types of content.
Review and approve content before delivery to the end user. Investigate and troubleshoot when issues occur for a quick resolution. Servicing both internal clients (e.g. technology, account management and senior management teams) and external (e.g. Wi-Fi providers, content owners and clients) Understand the media distribution chain, and communicate effectively with all third parties involved in delivering content to clients. Support new workflows and processes to ensure a successful end to end delivery.
