Key Responsibilities
Job tasks and responsibilitiesWe are looking for highly skilled practitioner with 7+ years’ experience in contaminated site assessments, remediation and/or auditing with an eye for detail. You are expected to be familiar with Environment Protection Act 2017, EPA Victoria guidelines and audit system in Victoria.SLR has a great reputation in the Land Quality & Remediation space and you will be working with technical specialists across the country who are also lead site Environmental Auditors with 20+ years’ in the game. You will have an opportunity to work on some of the most challenging contaminated site across Australia. It is noted that audit projects can include a range of project types depending on jurisdiction and can include site contamination audits and "non-site audit tasks" such as landfill audits.Skills and experienceThe duties of the Auditor Assistant (with administrative support provided by others) include:• Act as Project Manager on some audit projects• Coordinate Auditor's Expert Support Team (including external sub-consultants) and its input on each audit project• Perform technical reviews and prepare formal critiques on third party assessment reports for consideration and approval by the Auditor• Prepare draft reports and/or coordinated contributions by the Expert Support Team to draft audit reports• Act as the coordinator for maintenance of key auditing document templates and related quality systems• Act as a Project Manager or technical/support resources for non-audit contaminated land management projects.• Coaching and mentoring junior consultants.Our Benefits at SLR includeOur culture is unique where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
