Contact Officer, 37 hpw and 18.5 hpw(Supervised Contact Service, Poppyfields)£26,421 pa pro rataCurrent Legislation and good practice uphold the right of children to promote and maintain family time with their parents, the service will ensure that court ordered family time takes place. Promoting the best interests of the child at all times.You will be involved in the initial and ongoing development of the contact service and be responsible for the supervision and recording of sessions between children and their families.It is essential that you have at least one year’s experience of working with children and families and experience of multi agency working. You must also have good communication, record and report writing skills. Experience of facilitating family time and knowledge of child protection and the framework for assessment of need is essential.
