Job DescriptionJob title: Trainee Overheating AssessorSalary range: Starting from £25,000 per annumPlease note: This is a permanent position, therefore, any visa restrictions that limit the duration of employment will not be accepted.AES Sustainability Consultants Ltd is an award winning consultancy firm that works with some of the leading UK housebuilders and developers, delivering high quality energy and sustainability advice and assessments to the construction industry. Amongst our specialist services, we pride ourselves on the quality and accuracy of the calculations that we undertake. This role will focus on overheating assessments in accordance with the Part O regulations.We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, self-motivated trainees to conduct overheating analysis which will inform designers through the completion of Part O Overheating Assessments. This is a home/office based role as no site visits are required. No experience of the construction industry is required as full training will be provided.Our extensive training program provides support and mentoring to develop technical knowledge of the building industry and expertise in the use of the calculation software for Part O calculations.The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to build good working relationships with clients. Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of accuracy and organisation skills.Job responsibilities include:Completing internal training in relation to overheating risk analysis, using advanced dynamic simulation software and providing advice on how to mitigate it.
