Job summaryThere is an exciting opportunity within the North London Mental Health Partnership (NLMHP) for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Old Age Psychiatry to join the Enfield Older Adult Services based at Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield. The role is based on Cornwall villa ward and the Enfield Community Mental Health Team for Older People (CMHTOP). Cornwall villa ward is a 13 bedded mixed sex step-down treatment ward for older adults (over the age of 65years). The ward only takes transfer from the main admission and treatment ward and does not take direct admissions. The Enfield CMHTOP is a multidisciplinary team with 4 sub-teams lead by a consultant psychiatrist one of which would be linked to this post/vacancy.Please refer to the updated Job Description for this full time (10PA) post and the Person Specifications within it.This post has been submitted for approval by the Royal College of Psychiatrists in March 2024 and approval is awaited.Interviews will take place in May 2024 - exact date and location to be confirmed 1-2 weeks on applications closing.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be expected to provide clinical leadership for the MDT on Cornwall villa ward as well as the Enfield CMHTOP.
