Our operations in the UK consist of a prominent and authorised medical cannabis importer and wholesaler, as well as a medical cannabis clinic regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). At our clinic, we offer consultations and Cannabis Based Products for Medicinal use (CBPMs) for individuals suffering from chronic pain and psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and others
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team and provide expert consultation on the use of medicinal cannabis in psychiatric treatment. Responsibilities
Act as the primary consultant for all patients receiving psychiatric treatment under the care of Cantourage Clinic
Deliver high quality clinical consultations to assess the eligibility and continuing suitability of CBMPs for patients seeking treatment for psychiatric disorders
Initiate and review treatment plans for patients seeking CBPMs
Support non-medical prescribers with continuous review for patients under shared care
Act as a point of escalation for complex psychiatry related clinical queries
Chair MDT meetings to continuously review patients prescribed CBPMs for psychiatric conditions
Collaborate with the wider MDT for continuity of care
Active participant and member of the Quality, Safety and Innovation Committee (QSIC). Attend meetings and contribute to QSIC in line with specialism and role
Participate in complaint handling, investigations, and responding to feedback as required
Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in teaching and training, including clinical supervision to support the development of non-medical prescribers
Support the Clinical Lead with clinical service delivery and scoping for business development

Desirable Requirements
Previous experience in a similar consulting role within the cannabis industry
Experience with working in a digital healthcare environment
Experience in clinical supervision or mentorship
