This is a low secure service for women and CAMHS services for male and female adolescents over three distinct wards.You'll be working on Spencer Ward. This is a 15 bed in patient service providing assessment and treatment for women with mental disorders. Treatment is aimed at identification and management of needs rather than just a particular diagnosis. We are dedicated to providing gender sensitive care and treatment for women detained under the Mental Health Act. Spencer Ward is the only female low secure unit in South Yorkshire .In this role, your expertise will be the driving force for life-changing treatment - fully supported by a Specialty Doctor and first-class multidisciplinary team.And you'll have the opportunity to progress to Medical Director level through our management schemes.Apply now to enjoy excellent career prospects while reaping the rewards of making a difference to others - every day.Your role responsibilities...Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT)Take overall responsibility for patient treatment plans in conjunction with the MDTAssess referrals & undertake mental state examinations of service usersUndertake appropriate investigations, diagnosis & treatmentParticipate in ward rounds & clinical auditsLead the implementation of risk assessment, risk management & embed clinical governanceSupervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals & managers' hearings & attend hearingsParticipate in the 1 in 6/7 second telephone on-call rotaWhy Cygnet?
