The Trust will provide advice, guidance and support on vaccinations and access to vaccinations where requested.Job Description:We are looking for an enthusiastic and service development drivenConsultant Psychiatrist to join our growing Community Eating Disorder Team to continue todevelop and implement our established assessment and therapy treatmentprogramme for patients in the community with an eatingdisorder.The Consultant role is embedded in a dedicated multidisciplinary eatingdisorders team and offers consultation, assessment, advice, and psychological services anddietetic interventions for patients to 18 years and older with moderate tosevere eating disorders registered with GPs in North Devon, Exeter, East andMid Devon, West Devon and South Devon and Torbay.The Devon CEDS has developed from a pilot in 2016 and was fullycommissioned in 2018. It has successfully rolled out a locality based FREEDmodel in line with the transformation of the Community Health Framework andLong Term Plan.Additionally it has developed and implemented a dedicated team ofdoctors, nurses and physician associates for ensuring high quality and timelymonitoring of high risk patients for physical health needs across three clinicareas in Devon. This is GP led and is working closely with commissioners andPCN colleagues to develop shared care pathways with primary careMain duties of the jobThe successful candidate will have experience of both eating disorders presentationsand managing complexity and co-morbidity in this client group and be passionateabout delivering high quality patient care along with our other stakeholders inMental Health, Acute Hospitals and Primary Care. This includes the dedicatedSEDU ward, Haldon and colleagues in CAMHS.
