As one of the busiest and most successful NHS Foundation Trusts, we provide a full range of acute and community services to people in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, as well as specialist care to patients from across the UK. This is an exciting chance to join our team at Weston Park Cancer Centre – one of the UK’s leading cancer centres – as we look to grow and develop our non-surgical oncology services across South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire.
The hospital is home to busy inpatient and outpatient units, a chemotherapy day case unit, a large radiotherapy suite, and research centre. We also provide outpatient services within off-site clinical facilities and our neighbouring District General Hospital, as well as deliver SACT within five additional day case units across the region.
You’ll be joining a friendly, experienced consultant team, and we’re proud to be leaders in a well-established non-medical workforce to help support excellent patient care. This includes Consultant Nurses, Consultant Pharmacists, Consultant Radiographer, alongside advanced clinical roles in nursing, pharmacy and radiography.
With two leading universities, strong working relationships with our local Cancer Alliance and Weston Park Cancer Charity, we have an impressive track record of leading oncology transformation, clinical research and developing new care, treatments, and innovations for our patients.
