More detail about the role The department offers a modern anaesthetic service for the population in North Devon. Our anaesthetics, critical care and pain management department is friendly, successful and ambitious. Consultants will be supported by an established team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists, a psychologist, OT, social prescriber and physical exercise therapist. The Trust has an electronic patient record (EPIC), a multi-million-pound research facility, a significant development budget and big plans for the future. We will support new consultants to co-design a viable job plan and to develop innovative new services or pursue research and teaching interests. The Royal Devon is committed to developing services in Barnstaple and bringing the very best clinicians to Devon.
