Applications are invited to apply for a consultant post in Acute Medicine at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Acute Physician or Specialty Physician with an interest in Acute Medicine to join our team of Acute Physicians. Candidates’ dual trained in General Internal Medicine would be welcome to apply. MKUH have opened a new state of the art Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC) Unit in October 2022, and this post will be crucial to support the new unit and deliver 7 days a week Same Day Emergency Care.
They will also allow an excellent teaching program to be delivered to University of Buckingham undergraduate medical students. Undergraduate medical student teaching will be central to all of the acute medical consultant’s job plans.
The successful applicant will be expected to participate in teaching both under and postgraduate students associated with the University of Buckingham and will also be expected to support colleagues doing these activities as part of his or her arranged job plan.
