Consultant General Adult Psychiatry

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to join a brand new hospital based in Essex. You will be the responsible clinician for the new General Adult Acute ward.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
Medication management
Quality assurance, complaints and co-production
Delivery of NICE guidance
Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards
Experience and Qualifications:
Be medically qualified, MRC Psych or equivalent
Be innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions
Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health
Have substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, knowledge of and experience in purchaser/provider contractual is...
