Join our Ecosystem Solutions department as our new Consultant Ecologist/Marine Biologist and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Consultant Ecologist/Marine Biologist, you will be involved in providing technical advice for projects in offshore decommissioning, International Finance, advising on the ecological enhancement of offshore renewable zones, marine (biodiversity) net gain, and ecological risk assessments (relating to pollution).Your key responsibilities will be:Undertaking marine biology assessments and producing high quality reportsLiaising with regulatorsAssisting with management of small to medium scale projects with input on large scale projects with the support of the marine biology leadTeam player engaging with Ramboll project managers, clients, partner organisations and sub-consultantsDelivering technical work on complex projectsAssisting with fee proposal preparation and client communicationsInputs to resource planningCarrying out such additional duties as may reasonably be required in this roleYour new teamYou will be part of a specialist team including ecologists, nature based solutions specialists and ecotoxicologists delivering work in support of sustainable development, including biodiversity net gain, natural capital accounting and ecosystem services. We are a growing, ambitious and diverse team with a unique integrated approach; the team is dynamic and friendly, delivering work for a range of clients.Our team is small enough that you will get to know everyone and feel you have a significant role to play, big enough that there are people to bounce ideas off and with a range of different specialists and we are doing some interesting work on nature positive/corporate BNG work/renewables.
