Job Title: Health and Safety Trainer

We are partnering with a leading organisation to hire an additional Trainer for their business. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the CITB SS+ suite of courses, including SMSTS, SSSTS, and H&S at Work, as well as other construction courses. The ideal candidate may have experience as an instructor/trainer or a background in the construction industry with a desire to move into a trainer role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader who will heavily invest in your training and provide a role where you can add significant value.

This is a national role, and we welcome applicants from all locations. The ideal location would be Oxfordshire/Bedfordshire as much of the course delivery is focused in these areas.

In order to be considered for this vacancy, you must meet the essential requirements listed below.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes tailored to the construction sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct face-to-face teaching and delivery in groups in a classroom setting on a variety of topics, including Health and Safety within the construction sector.
  • Utilise engaging instructional techniques and materials to facilitate effective learning experiences for participants.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess training needs and develop customised learning solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to learners, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the training process.

Essential Requirements of the Health and Safety Trainer:


  • A background in construction training.
  • A teaching qualification.
  • CITB accreditation.
  • Willingness to travel and must hold a full UK driving licence.
