Location: Scotland | Hybrid/Remote | £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a qualified Trainer Assessor to join our award-winning client in the construction industry. As the successful candidate, you will deliver training and accreditation through our training academy, working closely with senior management to provide exceptional training and assessment for our internal and external construction professionals. Our client is a CITB approved training organisation and has secured a large funding grant for 2023/24. Experience in delivering training and a relevant assessment qualification is essential for this role.

What you will deliver:


  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training modules in various construction disciplines, including SSSTS, NVQ, and Site Safety Plus
  • Conduct interactive training sessions that combine theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on experience
  • Create and update training materials, resources, and assessments to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the curriculum development team to enhance training programmes based on industry trends and advancements
  • Evaluate student progress and performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, safety, and excellence in all training activities

Qualifications:


  • Experience in delivering training and a relevant assessment qualification is essential
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry, with a solid foundation in multiple construction disciplines, ideally Formwork and Groundworks
  • Proven track record of successfully training and mentoring individuals in a professional or educational setting
  • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, tools, materials, and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for empowering others to succeed
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction training or education (preferred but not mandatory)
