Construction Supervisor (Mechanical)

Location: Caithness, Scotland (Even if you're not nearby but live in Scotland, your application is still welcome)

Salary: £24k - £42k + Excellent Benefits

Full-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a well-established engineering and fabrication company, providing in-house services across civil, structural, mechanical, and marine works.

The Role:

As a Working Foreman, you will ensure the timely, safe, and satisfactory delivery of projects to the client.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers for effective contract delivery.
  • Collaborate with the site team, prioritising health, and safety.
  • Execute projects efficiently, achieving optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards and complies with specifications.
  • Implement quality and environmental management systems.
  • Liaise with the Client and Project Manager.
  • Operate machinery and tools, ensuring proper functionality.

Requirements:

  • Previously worked as a Working Foreman or in a similar role.
  • Must have prior mechanical experience and Hold CSCS card.
  • Experience working in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with health and safety legislation (e.g., Health and Safety at Work, CDM 2015 Regs).
  • Background in marine works. (Beneficial)
  • Possess 3- or 5-day first aid certificate. (Beneficial)
  • Valid UK driving licence.
