Job DescriptionCompany DescriptionDulicht Homes are a residential development company building in Grantown-on-Spey. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site Construction Site Manager role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction project. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Requirements:- Excellent knowledge of the construction industry including current building methods and regulations- Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS Training or Equivalent Construction Site Health and Safety Training- Minimum 5 years previous experience- Strong communication skills- Creative problem-solving skills- Strong decision-making ability- Ability to motivate others- Good teamwork and people skills- Attention to details- Good understanding of drawings and design- Be able to work under pressure- Strong leadership skills- Good IT skills (competent on MS software, such as: Outlook, Teams, etc.)- Well-presented and maintain a high sense of professionalism at all timesLicence/Certification:CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)SMSTS Certificate (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)Driving License First Aid (preferred)Responsibilities:Ensuring high levels of productivity of the teamApplying technical knowledge to problem solve on sitePlanning / Organisation of site operationsCarrying out site surveys and inspectionsCoordinating and maintaining regular communication with consultants, sub-contractors, planners, quantity surveyors and other stakeholders involved in the project.Managing the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality controlPreparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks as per the company policyEnsuring construction health and safety complianceEnsuring all site rules are adhered to by all personnel on siteOrganising and overseeing external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector, building inspector, etcMaintaining a high standard of cleanliness at sitesWorking with a flexible approachCo-ordinating supply and delivery of materials, plant and equipmentAttending site management meetingsSalary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year depending on experience.
