ENG Bauen has been appointed to develop and strengthen the construction management capabilities of an internationally recognised leader within the Industrial Gas sector.
We are seeking a Construction Manager who is looking to assume a long-term contract role in the client's Project Delivery Function, supporting a significant capital expenditure project from FEED to project execution and completion.
In your capacity as a Construction Manager, you will bear direct responsibility for managing the project's construction-related activities and for the project's ultimate success, ensuring the project is delivered within scope, under budget, and on time.
You will need to navigate the complexities of a heavily regulated environment, where the task involves operating within live sites while minimizing disruptions and ensuring the safe and timely completion of projects. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of all elements of construction.
This is an ideal role for a Construction Manager with a strong background in construction management and extensive experience in the delivery of large capital projects within the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Nuclear, or relevant industries.
The ideal person for the role:
Extensive background in overseeing large-scale construction projects within the Oil, Gas, Chemical, Nuclear, Petrochemical or relevant sector.
Preference for candidates with a degree or equivalent in relevant engineering or construction management.
Mandatory requirement for significant field experience in a construction management role.
Demonstrated track record of leading construction projects with values ranging from £30 - £80 million as a construction manager.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in Project Management or Construction Management.
