Construction Landscape Operative

Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Construction Landscape Operative on a permanent basis located in London. 

Madisons are looking for a Construction and Landscape Operative to join a client of ours landscape design company. Specifically, our client is looking for someone who is confident, highly motivated and with a can-do attitude. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and a desire to to learn on the job and enhance your knowledge and experience in hard and soft landscape construction. This is an active role and you’ll be working on a variety of sites including private and commercial construction sites in some of the most desirable locations in London and the Home Counties.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading material
• Operating heavy machinery and vehicles
• Ensuring a clean and safe site 
• Groundworks including excavations, foundations, drainage and services
• Mixing mortar and concrete for paving installation
• Carpentry works
• Tree Planting including Semi-Mature Trees
• Supporting general Horticulture works including ground preparation, planting seeding and laying turf.

Requirements

• Experience and certification to operate an excavator and other heavy machinery 
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in the relevant field 
• Attention to Detail 
• Excellent Customer Service 
• Experienced with the responsibilities listed above 
• Full Driving License
