Our client is an established Building Company based near Stamford and operating throughout the East Midlands and East Anglia area.



Carrying out a wide variety of building and civil engineering projects, in the roles of Main and Principal Contractor, we have a broad spectrum of clients and work on projects ranging from �500k to �5million in value.

These include clients within NHS trusts, Education, Public & Charitable, Commercial & Retail, Industrial, Conservation, Coastal and Residential sectors.



About the role



This opportunity would suit an Estimator looking for a new challenge in a varied and autonomous role within a well-established company operating across various markets.



Key Responsibilities



1 Prepare and cost estimates to high levels of accuracy

2 Collate and analyse project cost estimates at all stages of the project

3 Review and validate estimates

4 Provide input into the tender review process

5 Interface with project planning teams to ensure alignment between the estimate and the Project Plan

6 Produce monthly reports to an agreed reporting cycle and communicate to all levels of management

7 Send out sub-contract enquiries and follow up.



About you



1 Minimum 5 years' experience in an Estimating role - ideally contractor side however client side will be considered

2 An excellent communicator

3 Experience of working as Principal and Main Contractor

4 Excellent organisation, communication and IT skills

5 Highly proactive, logical and adaptable with a 'can do' attitude

6 Good time keeping, problem solving skills and a keen eye for detail

7 The ability to prioritise across multiple concurrent projects

8 A full UK driving licence
