An exciting opportunity to join thousands of workers across Britain who are working hard to build two new nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point C, one of the UK's largest construction projects. The first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing reliable zero-carbon nuclear electricity for around six million homes, essential for our energy security. The Construction Delivery Manager (CDM) will support the delivery of an area within a specific section of the Works. This responsibility extends to all construction and related activities, reporting to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager and includes logistics planning and implementation in collaboration with the site-wide logistics team, programming, and planning, monitoring and close out of authorities' obligations and conditions and client liaison.
Recommend temporary measures to mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns. Follow up by taking appropriate and proportionate action to avoid the cessation of work. This includes but is not limited to the review of documents, assurance audits, etc. Monitor works on-site record findings in a construction daily site log, ensuring information is reported up through the organisation to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager.
