PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Construction Coordinator to join our progressive onshore construction team based in Aberdeen on a full-time, long-term basis. Office attendance in the Aberdeen office on a hybrid basis is essential either on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
The Construction Coordinator is responsible forall coordination and management of the project/campaignbeing executed offshorein line with onshore design requirements.
Duties -
Early involvement with Construction andWorkpackEngineers to understand specific scope of work requirements
Review of forthcoming constructionworkpacksin preparation for offshore campaign
Identification andmobilisationmanagement of alltrades personneland specialist vendorsassociated with offshore scope(s) of work
Management of all plant and equipment associated with offshore scope(s) of work
Involvement in offshore material management process to ensuretimelyavailability of construction materialsin line with project plans
Identification of material/consumable shortfalls and proactively addressing gaps
Ensuring protection and return of allprojectrelated equipment intimelyfashion
Daily communication with offshore focal points including attendance at regular morning calls
Management of site queries andmaintainsite query register
Ensureworkpacksare back loaded and moved into close out team as soon as possible post construction while adequately addressing any punch list items
Liaise / interface with Clients, Sub-contractors, Vendors and Certifying Authorities on construction project related issues
Regular offshore visitsto suit PD&MS and client requirements
Review of Construction Timesheets to confirm correctness
Input to construction CTRs to ensuremanhoursare correct
Review and update of construction related planning activities
On occasion the Construction Coordinator may be requested to go offshore and function in the role of OCS, in this case the Job Specification for the position of OCS should be referenced.

About You
The successful candidate would ideally have the following skills and attributes:
Time Served / Modern Apprenticeship approved by City & Guilds or HNC or recognised technical qualification approved byan appropriate awardingbody
IOSH Managing Safely in the Engineering Construction Industry (SMTD Module 4) (to be completed within the first 3 months)
Demonstrable experience working offshore in an engineering, construction engineering or maintenance environment
Demonstrated knowledge of construction engineering requirements and practices
Competent in the use of MS Office applications
Excellent written and spoken English
Offshore certification
