Construction Certification Assessor

Role: Building Inspector
Contract role
Location: Remote, UK coverage
We are currently looking for independent technical assessors in Construction. to become our external technical assessor, suitable applicants would have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Steel Structures
Modern methods of Construction
Installation
Fire prevention/protection
Competent Persons Schemes (including but not limited to electrical installation, plumbing and heating, insulation, roofing)
Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in the above.
Key skills:
Proven experience in relevant industry sectors for example: building control, product certification, production plus hold appropriate qualifications.
Knowledge of the more specialist certification areas would be particularly valuable.
Experience of internal or third-party auditing or assessment, as would knowledge of ISO 17065, ISO 17020 and ISO 17021.
