We are currently recruiting for a Conference & Events Sales Coordinator to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport. This is a full-time role covering 5 days a week.

About the role:
What will I be doing?
As a Conference & Events Sales Coordinator , you will be:
Handling conference and events sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner, following established procedures and the hotel's selling strategy.
Taking a proactive lead in all Event enquiries, including large corporate & private events.
Ensuring effective communication in providing detailed information for all bookings to the operations team to ensure successful event delivery.
Conducting thorough show rounds of the hotel for potential and existing clients.
Managing event lead portals with a prompt and proactive approach.
Participating in hotel sales activity including sales calls, client entertaining and supporting with hosting FAM trips.
Maximizing revenue opportunities and supporting further sales activities within the hotel, finding innovative ways to increase sales opportunities through proactive selling and upselling opportunities.
Identifying and collecting sales leads, as well as growing and developing existing customer relationships through regular contact.
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Previous experience in a hotel sales or meetings and events role.
Knowledge of the Manchester market.
Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent decision-making ability and a high degree of integrity.
Good organizational and administration skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
Confident telephone manner
High level of IT skills
Excellent grooming standards
Job Type: Full-time
Rate of pay: £24,960.00.
