What your role isGeneral Mills EUAU is embarking on an exciting journey to transform its supply chain planning systems, processes, and capabilities (internally referenced as IPT: Integrated planning transformation).This creates a new and exciting opportunity for a Concurrent Supply Planner for our EUAU plants. This role for General Mills International will be pivotal in implementing the concurrent supply planning capability in EUAU and bringing supply planning to the next level.This role is responsible for supporting the balancing of demand and inventory information against capacity realities to determine net requirements and production quantities by location. Primary responsibility is to build supply plans that support demand while enabling commercial & supply chain decisions with cost-benefit analysis. Process responsibility includes supporting mid to long term production and volume planning, setting inventory targets, balancing inventory across the network and scenario planning.Key ResponsibilitiesOwns operational planning in week 5-13 and strategic planning from months 4-36Partners closely with markets, supply planners, plant and OBMs to understand levers and make decisions regarding supply chain and business trade-offsRun scenarios based on total capacity, net requirements, inventory targets, segmentation strategies, and volume plans across locations based on cost-benefit analysisDrive execution against selected supply plan scenarios that balances constraints in consideration of capacity, distribution requirements, and volume planningPartners with the business and plants to understand overall objectives and capacity and resource constraints, along with changes to network realities and footprintPartner with Logistics to support mid to long-term distribution strategiesSupport mid to long-term volume plans (production volume)Build annual supply strategies to meet financial, operational, & business targets of each marketMonitor & drive improvement through KPI tracking to reconcile performance against plans to drive ongoing improvements in costs, time, capacity, and asset utilizationWhat you will bring to the teamMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree, or local equivalent, required5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, forecasting process, basic operations, inventory planning, and statistical analysisGood understanding of end-to-end supply chain operational processesEffective communication and influencing skillsHigh learning agility to move at the fast pace of this transformation.Ability to utilize visualization and communication toolsFluent in EnglishPreferred QualificationsFluent in French/SpanishPrevious experience in production and capacity planningBasic knowledge of demand planning processes, principles and acumen to push integrated strategies that consider impact of demand through supply chainOther ConsiderationsSignificant travel will be required at the beginning (approximately first 3 months) of the assignment.
