The role
The Concur Development Analyst will be responsible for a number of the day-to-day administration and system related processes for the organization’s Concur Expense and Invoice System. This position will undertake and handle functional, administrative and technical support aspects of the Concur system, as well as assist the Concur Team with special projects and country implentations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate technical and functional knowledge of the Concur Expense and Invoice system to perform administrator tasks, which require an advanced understanding of the Concur Expense and Invoice system. Knowledge of Cognos Reporting would be advantageous but not essential. This includes tasks such as, configuration of audit rules, general ledger account changes, system extracts and file import monitoring, expense type creations, delegation assignments, etc.
Providing best practice advice to systems users including teams within the global service centre
Investigation of systems issues and testing fixes provided in liaison with Concur Support the IT department and other SAP support Teams
Liaising with the third-party systems suppliers to register issues via Contact Portal and be able to demonstrate Incident and Problem Management and root cause analysis
General administration of finance systems and to maintain an in-depth knowledge of SAP applications and providing expert advice regarding their application whilst following best practice
Investigate and troubleshoot problems in systems, processes and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures
Able to assist with identifying trends in recurring incidents and take part in providing suitable long-term solutions (‘problem’ management)
Help team with the performance of regular health checks as well as recommend and execute required remedial actions in achieving a stable and working closely with departments to understand business processes, uncovering areas for improvements, and implementing solutions
Support a demanding global user-base receiving new functionality in an agile environment with a sharp focus on the timely management of customers and stakeholders
Advise, guide, train and provide direction to company employees regarding system usage/functionality. As well as, assist with developing training materials, etc., for end users
Run detailed analysis reports and queries within the Concur Cognos Reporting Tool..
Able to create, modify and implement test scripts and training materials related to Concur system enhancements, customizations or new module implementations as required
Able to demonstrate project skills and meet all milestones and timelines. Handles individual deliverables with minimal supervision/guidance and coordinate with others as necessary
ABOUT YOU
Excellent customer service skills with proven track record in this sector
An analytical approach and actively enjoys problem solving
Ability to learn quickly with a thorough and precise attitude to work
Competence and confidence in the use of IT applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be motivated and able to work as part of a team with a minimum of supervision.
Good organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise one’s workload whilst maintaining a flexible working approach
Takes ownership of problems to accelerate a resolution
Having some knowledge of ERP preferably AP S/4 HANA system as a user or Finance user
Understanding of Accounts Payables, Invoice Management (Concur) Expense management solution(Concur) and legal billing processes
Some experience with Microsoft SQL Databases, IT Group Policies, Citrix Desktops, ServiceNow
Knowledge of functionalities of master data, contract and processing, pricing, billing, and integration to other applications
