Concrete Lab Technician

Net Temps are recruiting for a Concrete Lab Technician to join their team. As part of a small testing team within the production facility, you will undertake standard concrete manufacturing tests and finished product checks. This position offers a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, fixed daytime hours, and an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting product tests using gauging machines
• Performing various concrete tests (e.g., slump tests, pull testing, curing checks, concrete checks)
• Generating accurate reports with findings and sharing them with relevant departments
• Interpreting specifications and basic drawings
• Adhering strictly to site health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using testing equipment
• Experience interpreting drawings and considering details and dimensions
• Ability to create reports using Excel
• Concrete lab experience essential Ideal qualification - concrete technology or experience working in a UKAS accredited lab

Compensation:

• Pay rate: £15.00 per hour plus holiday pay
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts, averaging 40-50 hours per week.
