Job description: Full job descriptionSalary: £154 – £285 per day Depending on experienceProtocol Education are looking to appoint an Computer Science Teacher for a Secondary school within SalfordThe school is a small setting and one where it is oversubscribed each year, within a well-established, smaller trust. By being part of a smaller trust the school shines with unique opportunity and creativity, particurarly in sport & music.The school are looking for an ICT/Computer Science specialist to join their department to deliver to KS3 & KS4. This will include a regular tutor group, planning & marking – which will include a timetable that PPA time is allocated for, as well as extra curricular available if desired.Role: Computer Science Teacher (Secondary, KS3-KS4)Location: Salford (must be able to commute everyday)Hours: Monday – Friday 830am – 330pm (O.8/0.6 & part time applicants are urged to apply)Qualifications: PGCE with QTS/QTLS (non QTS, lecturer’s, BA/MSc in ICT and ICT specialists are also urged to apply)Protocol Education are looking for a candidate who;

Utilises a variety of teaching methods to present engaging, thoughtful lessons and CPD sessions
Be an advocate and inspirational leader within their subject
Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and the well being with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals and the local community
Excellent behaviour and classroom management, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
Knowledge of AQA, OCR exam boards and leader within GCSE’s
Confident in supporting pupils with SEND and how to support and differentiate within the mainstream classroom
