Compund Operative
As a Compound Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our plant. Working a 12-hour, 4-day week rotating shift, you will undertake a wide range of plastic processing tasks to ensure production efficiency and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Operate compound machinery and equipment to process plastics.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and overtime as needed.
- Bendi Truck (FLT) certificate is desirable but not essential.
