Composite and Team Mechanical Support

Currently looking for a Composite and Team Mechanical Support to join a key client of ours in Kidlington.

The purpose of the role is to provide composite component assembly, repair and mechanical and garage support to the Jaguar Formula E Team.

Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire

Working Pattern: On-site

Job role will include:

• Assemble, adjust, repair and disassemble the team’s composite components on event and at the factory.

• Assemble / repair / maintain components, pit and garage equipment and car hardware as required.

• Liaising with race engineering, prepare wheels, tyres and TPMS units and then arrange fitting, before managing tyres during sessions at race and test events. Will include in-session pressure adjustments, tyre running and supplier / engineer liaison.

• Assemble and maintain race and test garage infrastructures and hardware both on event and when at the factory.

• Provide hands on support for factory operations as required

• Ideally, possess a good vehicle wrapping skillset; able to confidently wrap complex bodywork and garage infrastructure components.

Skills you'll have:

• At least 1-2 years’ experience of solid composite trackside assembly and on event repair experience, in a motorsport environment.

• A confident team player, familiar with the fast paced and ever-changing requirements of a race and test team.
