Our client is a leading London Law firm who is recognised as top tier by the legal directories in multiple of their specialist practice areas.

The firm have over 15 lawyers that have been recommended individually for their extraordinary contribution to their field.

They regularly advise international and national companies on complex, and multi-jurisdictional matters.

The Opportunity

Their Commercial department offer a wide range of services to companies in many industries, including financial services, technology, fashion and travel.

For this role, our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Solicitor in the Travel Regulation sector. The travel industry is a highly lucrative, with 237bn GBP contributed to the UK economy due to travel & tourism. Most recently, our client secured a landmark legal victory against a major airline and have advised the biggest travel companies in the UK.

This exciting opportunity will involve advising on:

  • Compliance with general consumer law
  • Compliance with travel regulation
  • Working on muti-jurisdictional compliance projects
  • On the Digital Services Act and the Online Safety Act
  • As well as dealing contentious matters with regulators such as the CMA and CAA.

Requirements

  • Qualified Compliance (Travel Regulation) Solicitor with between 3 - 7 years' PQE
  • Strong track record of advising on black letter regulation
  • At least a genuine interest in the Travel industry
